On October 10, 2012, Consumer Law Group commenced a class action against New Balance relating to certain statements made regarding its “toning” shoes. The following New Balance Toning Shoes are the subject of the litigation:
• Rock&Tone, TrueBalance, Aravon Ria, Aravon Riley and Aravon Quinn
On March 26, 2013, the parties reached a proposed national settlement. A copy of the settlement agreement is available here:

On May 3, 2013, the Superior Court of Quebec scheduled a motion for authorization of the action as a class action and approval of the settlement agreement for June 21, 2013 at 8:40 AM at the Montreal Court House located at 1, Notre-Dame St. East, Montreal, Quebec, in room 2.08. The Court ordered the following notice regarding that hearing:

• Avis aux membres du groupe (Français)
If you wish to opt out of the settlement, you must fill out the opt out form below, follow the instructions, and submit it by mail no later than August 19, 2013.
