Diamond Pet Foods False Advertising National Class Action

CONSUMER LAW GROUP is investigating a Canada-wide class action lawsuit against Schell & Kampeter, Inc., dba Diamond Pet Foods, and Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. on behalf of individuals who have purchased their premium lines of dog and cat food products, which include:

“Taste of the Wild Pet Food Products”
- Taste of the Wild PREY Trout Formula Limited Ingredient Recipe Dry Dog Food
- Taste of the Wild PREY Turkey Formula Limited Ingredient Recipe Dry Dog Food

“Kirkland Nature’s Domain Pet Food Products”
- Nature’s Domain: Beef Meal & Sweet Potato Formula for Dogs
- Nature’s Domain: Turkey Meal & Sweet Potato Formula for Dogs
- Nature’s Domain: Salmon Meal & Sweet Potato Formula for Dogs
- Nature’s Domain: Puppy, Chicken & Pea Formula
- Nature’s Domain: Small Breed Salmon & Lentil Formula for Dogs

The class action alleges that the Defendants falsely, misleadingly or deceptively represented these Pet Food Products to be grain-free, meaning free of any ingredients made from wheat, rice, oats, corn, soy, barley, or any other cereal grain.

In truth, scientific testing has revealed that that the Pet Food Products actually do contain material amounts of grain contrary to their widespread representations.
