CONSUMER LAW GROUP has launched a class action lawsuit against Yahoo on behalf of individuals who have purchased a membership to the dating websites Yahoo! Personals or Yahoo! Personals Premier.

The class action involves Yahoo deliberately and intentionally originating and perpetuates false or non-existent profiles on its website to give the website a much more attractive and functional appearance by falsely representing to have more members than actually exists.
