Toshiba DLP TV Lamp National Class Action |
CONSUMER LAW GROUP has launched a national class action lawsuit against Toshiba on behalf of individuals who own a 2004 or 2005 model year digital light projection (“DLP”) television.
The class action is based on a design defect that causes the lamp unit to last significantly less that the 6,000 to 8,000 hours that Toshiba represents, sometimes being as low as 300 hours, thereby causing the televisions to fail prematurely and require the purchase of a replacement lamp unit.
The Toshiba DLP TV 2004 and 2005 televisions models and lamps involved include:
o 44HM84, 44HMX84, 46HM84, 46HM94, 46HM94P, 52HM84, 52HMX84, 52HM94, 52HMX94, 62HM84, 62HM94, 62HMX84, 62HMX94, 62HM194 television
